TERRITORY

It is a romantic lane that of the Langhe and Roero, where the Madernassa Resortis located. Since 22 June 2014, on the occasion of the 38th session of the UNESCO committee in Doha, the Roero, together with the Langhe and Monferrato, has become part of the list of World Heritage Sites.
A land that is recognized for excellence, which takes shape among hills, ancient villages, vineyards and gastronomic traditions among the most loved in Italy.

We are on the left bank of the river Tanaro, in Guarene, a small, “orange flag” village of the Touring Club Italia. The village overlooking Alba, is dominated by the eighteenthcentury castle, the work of the architect Filippo Juvarra. You can visit its splendid monuments such as the Palazzo Re Rebaudengo, home to exhibitions and important artistic events, the Church of SS Annunziata, built between 1699 and 1738 on a project by the architect Francesco Rachis, Count of Carpeneto, the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary with paintings by Casoli.
