We are on the left bank of the river Tanaro, in Guarene, a small, “orange flag” village of the Touring Club Italia. The village overlooking Alba, is dominated by the eighteenthcentury castle, the work of the architect Filippo Juvarra. You can visit its splendid monuments such as the Palazzo Re Rebaudengo, home to exhibitions and important artistic events, the Church of SS Annunziata, built between 1699 and 1738 on a project by the architect Francesco Rachis, Count of Carpeneto, the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary with paintings by Casoli.
The Madernassa Restaurant & Resort opens the doors of the kitchen to those who want
to learn new techniques and methodologies useful for preparing traditional and
innovative dishes. A training course that starts from the garden and the excellence of the
territory all the way to the table.
